Booking Policy: 
All bookings require a deposit of minimum 1 nights accommodation or a valid Credit Card Number at time of booking to secure your room. Bookings with no deposit will be deemed as “Tentative” until a Credit Card number or deposit is received. Tentative bookings will only be held for 48 hours.
Peak Periods: 
Bookings for Peak Periods such as Easter, Christmas, School Holidays etc will require a deposit at time of booking. The outstanding balance will be required 30 days prior to check-in.
Cancellation:
PVM cancellation policy is 72 hours. Your deposit, less a $50 booking fee is fully refundable up to 72 hours prior to your arrival date. The tariff for bookings cancelled after that time is only refundable if a substitute booking is available for the property on the same dates.
Accounts:
If you intend to depart before 7:00 am, please settle your account the previous evening.
Swimming Pool:
The use of the swimming pool is for guests only between the hours of 7:30AM to 8:30PM. Please note that there is NO glass of any type allowed in the pool area or its surrounds for safety reasons.
Departure: 
Guests are reminded to vacate their units by 10AM on the day of their departure, otherwise an additional charge may occur. Please remember to leave the key at Reception at time of departure or unless otherwise arranged with Management.
Evening Meals:
Evening meals can be enjoyed at the “Escapes” restaurant at the Tannum Sands Tavern conveniently located 100 metres from PVM.
Faxes: 
A Fax service is available through Reception per the following Charges:
Sending within Australia:
1st Page  $4, subsequent pages $1 each
Sending Internationally:
1st Page $10, subsequent pages $2 each
Photocopying:
Photocopying is available at Reception at a cost of 20 cents per page
Reception Hours:
Reception Desk is attended between 7AM and 8:30PM
Laundry:
Each Unit at PVM is fully Self-Contained and equipped with a washing machine, Ironing Board and Iron. Washing powder is provided.
Loss & Damage:
We draw your attention to the Inn Keepers Liability Act. Palm Valley Motel does not accept responsibility for stolen or damaged property.
Pets:
In accordance with State Health Regulations, NO pets are allowed in any units or in the surrounds of PVM.
Cleaning:
Units are fully self-contained. Bookings greater than 7 days, the units will be serviced and linen changed weekly or unless otherwise arranged. Additional cleaning and linen changes can be arranged at a nominal fee.
Quiet Times:
Guests and invitee of guests are expected to behave in a manner, which is conductive to the safety, comfort and convenience of other guests within the property.
A breach of any House Rules may result in the summary eviction of the offender at the discretion of the manager.
A breach of house rules include:
(i) noisy, offensive and/or unruly behaviour;
(ii) damage to or destruction of property;
(iii) improper or unseemly conduct;
(iv) any act or omission which, in the opinion of the Manager, adversely effects or brings discredit upon the Manager, owner or other guests.
Smoking: 
All rooms at PVM are non-smoking. There are ashtrays conveniently placed in the carports. All smokers are encouraged to use the ashtrays for the courteous disposal of all smoking material. Guests who smoke in the rooms will be charged an additional nights tariff for cleaning and disinfecting purposes which will take 24 hours.
Breakfasts: 

For Guests’ convenience we offer 2 breakfast alternatives:

  1. Continental Breakfasts – will be delivered that evening for you to prepare at your leisure.
  2. Cooked Breakfast – Breakfast cooked and delivered to your room at your request.
